Can you loose as much weight on a 1000 calories healthy diet as on a 1000 calories junk food diet ..

More specifically ... can you for e.g choose to eat 1 bag of chips a day, or 1/2 bucket of ice cream, or 1 big Mac (and only that) ... and successfully loose the weight? Are a 1000 calories really stocked (or burned as a 1000 calories)? Or does it matter what type of foods they come from? PS: Just talking about the weight/ fat loss NOT the fact that it must be SUPER unhealthy ...
