How much liquid do you need to drink to maintain a healthy body per day.?

Specify if you include tea, coffee or any other drinks.

The rule has always been to drink at least 8 oz. of water a day.  That would not include tea, coffee or other drinks:  strickly water.  I lost a kidney because I did not drink water as I should.  I wrote a Hub about that experience, and I advise readers (just like my dr. did) to drink 8 oz. of water each day.

    Hello..!!
Well you should drink around 3.5liters of minimum liquid daily to keep yourself hydrated. Liquid may involve your juices, water, buttermilk, soy milk, milk, etc
    All the Best!!

I drink 64 oz water per day, and I don't count other liquids. It does wonders for skin and keeps you hydrated. I also drink cranberry juice to protect kidneys from infection. I used to drink lots of cokes but no longer. Soft drinks have too many harmful ingredients, especially diet coke. A couple a day are ok.

If your exercise is limited, nothing beyond two glasses of whatever is in them so long as the drink is not salty beer (see below), should maintain your daily need while eliminating body fluid buildup, especially if you have Diabetes. If you walk 1/2 hr. daily, enough water to replace what you burned or sweated off, which is close to a glass. If you do heavy labor and or strenious body activity, add 2 more, so you reach 8 glasses. If you're an athlete and burn up pounds of sweat, replace them with liquid. If the liquid is beer, your bodywill retain more than it eliminates,  so you need less. The subject is complicated and for person there's the answer which best satifies their needs and which one should not go beyond.  David
