I have a family member who went through the process and had an extremely fast recovery. One of the more important things is to make sure you keep a sports bra that is snug fitting on as much as possible. The more you wear the bra, the less pain you feel and the faster your chest heals.
Also, keep Advil on hand and take them at the regular dose, every four to six hours. Not only will this reduce the swelling faster, but it will also help with bruising and any pain. You'll be back on your feet in no time.
(Try not to do any lifting and to use your arms as little as possible. Any excess strain can make your healing process take longer.)
