Being busy doesn't necessarily mean not bored - do you agree? why or why not?
sometimes it's hard to stay motivated when our days are filled with a lot of chores we grow weary of. Right now I have a son in a full leg cast/wheelchair so I am doing a LOT more over this summer than typical as far as cleaning clutter etc. and I find that even though I'm constantly moving - my mind is mush! I definitely have always believed you can be busy and bored simultaneously! What are your thoughts? Ever had similar experiences?
I agree. It's the monotony of something you have to do over and over that drains your soul.
Listening to music can certainly lessen the effects of boredom when it comes to the monotony of chores/cleaning. Or you can treat your mind like a juke box, you'd be amazed at the ability of listening to a song in your head as if it was playing on the radio itself. I do this whenever I'm cleaning or having to wait for something or whatever else that may cause boredom. Try also to put yourself somewhere else in your mind, activate imagination and it will make the experiences more enjoyable.
