You would think that after writing all day, I would get tird of tossing ideas around in my head, but no... it keeps me up at night! Does anyone else do this too?

I've gotten up several times to work in the middle of the night. The problem with that is, when you have a late night idea, it sounds perfect at 3 am. In the morning it can sound a little ridiculous.I honestly do by best writing in the afternoon.
Ya, that happens sometimes. Occasionally, though, I have some great ideas just before going to sleep or just after waking up. I suspect perhaps it is because I am partially tapped into the creativity engine our brain uses to generate dreams.
That could be! My dreams tend to be a little abstract, so that could be why my late night thoughts are a little off the wall.
Oh believe me..I don't have to try to get my thoughts racing at night. Great way to look at it though... Just taking it easy, and enjoying your work. Sounds lovely. :)
Good idea, but when I write stuff down, it's usually just so that it stops plaugeing my thoughts. Therefore it's almost better to not write it down, because then i will bug myself with it until it gets done!
The best ideas do come during the day, when we are fully awake don't they? Oh, the health care profession is a great place for inspiration.
I have limited online where I am living, because it is a shared computer, so I know exactly what you mean. we are productive when we can be, and the middle of the night can be very tempting when you know there's an unoccupied computer nearby!
Maybe I should spend more time thinking about what to write - while I have so many 'vague' ideas floating around in my head and on paper, nothing seems to want to come together as one good article!
Usually if I can come up with a bulleted list about a topic, it can be a good article. That list becomes my subheadings.
Lucky you! Honestly I'm happy when my articles are the only thing that keep me up at night :)
Sometimes I do, but nowadays I like to TRY to maintain a day schedule. It doesn't always happen that way though. There have been nights when the temptatiion was just too great, and I ended up online at 2 am writing my heart out till around 6.
oh wowww lol, once your schedule gets messed up like that, its hard to get back to the regular schedule, i used to work nights, it was hard
I've had to switch from a day schedule to a graveyard shift several times. I don't think my body has caught up with me, and my desire to be a day person yet, because my body seems to turn on around 10 pm! Ironically,my brain turn on at around 10 am.
