I cannot fall asleep. I have been trying. Everything is shut down. The room is pitch dark and cold. Heat bothers me. Even when I wake up at 8:30 and only have 5 hours of sleep, I can't fall asleep at night. I can go for 27 hours of being awake before I pass out. When I do fall asleep, it is only during the day and I wake up by 6 pm, never longer. Then the routine restarts. I do not like this routine. I am on a new diet and exercise program, although with the sleep cycle exercising gets much harder. How do I fix this?

I tried this when I was younger. I have lucid dreams naturally. When I was younger, they frightened me a lot, so I would not sleep. They told me I would be too tired to dream. They were wrong, but my school schedule put me on track.
