Hi,  my answer is yes!  I normally think about my writing and what I could do next, I never get to the answer because I'm fast asleep before I get there!

That's an interesting question. I always do rehash the day as I lay in bed at night. Sometimes, however, I wish I didn't. When my head hits the pillow that's when the mind will race. When working on a writing piece I often have to jump up and scribble something down. One nighttime preoccupation led to a nightmare that found me sitting up in bed yelling about the birds as Poe's ravens flew around my room. And another led to repeating rants from Quentin Compson about time that kept swirling around my head again and again. At least I connected to that character in a deep way, I felt like I was going crazy with him. Nonetheless I find it hard to quiet my thoughts but sometimes that brings do much joy as I relive a beautiful day,

Honestly, I always do end up thinking before sleep, however I wish I didn't. I find that I fall asleep a lot faster if I don't think, which I prefer, but it's just hard to turn the thinking switch off! haha

No, I try not to and put my earbuds in with an audio book. I have one going on now that I fall asleep in the same place each night!  But if I think, I am a goner - it gets my brain going and I get ideas for writing or crafting and then I cannot go to sleep.

I try not to think too much before sleeping. I do something boring, like fold clothes.

I try not to think about anything very serious before bed, otherwise I will not be able to fall asleep.

No. I don't prefer to read a book but sometimes it can't be helped, especially if I've been thinking alot during the day at work or if I'm on the computer too long.

My imagination takes me usually for a wild ride to some exciting natural spot I have never seen before but reminds me of some past holiday destination, such as snorkelling among beautifully coloured corals and fish, climbing up the snowy peak or sky diving.....love to dream and travel...in every time of my day or night....

    Oh  yes .. a lot ..
I usually recap my whole day .. This lets me reinforce some good and bad memories into my mind for  long term ..  My thoughts take me to far away lands and then suddenly  I end my thoughts with what I'll do for my students at school the next day ..

No, I try to clear my head so that I am able to sleep. If my mind starts going it could keep me awake.

Yes, i usually think about how my day went and about the good things that happened. The next days events also spark my interest laying in bed while trying to go to sleep.
