The thing is- how a person's remains are disposed of is entirely up to them, unless they pass without any indication of what their wishes are. If that's the case, there may be more trouble than just how to take care of the body- because there will probably be a lack of legal documentation (such as a will... uh oh) as well. My father is currently looking into total body donation (donating it to science, that is), and it is our job to support him in whatever endeavor he should so choose. I feel a Hub coming on about this, actually. Thanks for the inspiration, and allowing us to weigh in!!
