I've been exercising quite a bit lately, and I wonder if there are any objective standards that will allow me to say at some point that I am in "good shape". When I looked online to find "fitness standards", the only thing that I could find was the Army Physical Fitness Test (http://bit.ly/PWsMgb). That's a useful test, but I'm more interested in something that demonstrates that I have significantly decreased my odds of getting heart disease, cancer and diabetes. That test really just says if I'm fit enough to be a soldier, which may or may not overlap with my own goals.
