What's the most satisfying part of living on a farm?

Its being in the outdoors. I love the smell of fresh air and being out in the woods all by myself. I grew  up in the outdoors and on a farm and that was some of the most rememberable days of my life.

Having space! We live in the suburbs currently but I grew up on an 80 acre farm I wish I could do the same for my kids. Just recently the kids were playing hide and seek in the house and I realized how fortunate I was to grow up in the sticks where hide and seek required tracking skills and a days supply of food and water. And there is just so much that children can learn from farm life. From how things grow to taking care of animals and above all, living on a working farm you are sure to learn a solid, strong work ethic that lasts a lifetime.

Actually LIVING. City living is life on a life support. Life on the farm is closer to what it was meant to be; close to nature, natural ingredients, cleaner air, basically being a part of earth and not makebelieve earth living. For all those living on farms I take my hat off to you.

    Growing our own food.

The American economic scene isn't looking to healthy with $16 Trillion in national debt. When that debt bubble pops, Earth will be toast, and America ground zero. Infrastructure will likely collapse and food shortages will likely be common. People will likely die of starvation.

May God bless and protect you all.

I dont know how bad it will. But Growing your own food is always good. It will get pretty bad though. People already die from starvation.
