I just started taking it today to help with my anxiety, and I would like to know what some of you have experienced while on it--side affects, as well as whether it helped with whatever you were being treated for.

Thanks for the answer. So far, I've had crazy mood swings and nausea. It's only my first day though.
my sister had nausea that didn't go away in the usual few days with one SSRI. her doc tried a different one and she had no problems with it.
Well since it's only my first day I hope it will go away soon.
Soybean and cow milk - you can get those lecithin granules over the counter, get some veg (rucola, tomato, red kidney beans?); add milk (skimmed can be good) and lecithin granules - and popcorn on top, if you like :)
Not meaning any offense - if you'd think about some time before the medication and compare, would you say that your language functions have changed?
I took no offense, lol. Hmm... I was slurring my words a little bit this morning, and then I was talking really quickly for a while. I guess I see what you mean.
This aches, I mean the chemistry is invasive. Couldn't you change your meds?
SSRI's are proven to have the sexual symptoms from what I've read. And what exactly do you mean by 'language functions?'
Language functions: speech (articulation, comprehension of auditory data), language (reading, writing). The effects of neuroleptics happen to be termed a speech-language deficit - language functions in short.
