I woke up this morning to the news of yet another horror shooting rampage in the US. But this time it was mainly young children who died as the result of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School. To my amazement the locals talked not of getting rid of guns but giving teachers guns! Simple research shows the facts that countries that have gun control do not have teh frequency (if any) of these kinds of incidents. Seems to me that a blind belief in the right to own a gun is costing the lives if many innocents. What will it take for the US to put strict controls on gun ownership?

And your point is?
Just becasue it was legally owned does not mean that gun ownership is a good thing. Children have been killed.
This is my point http://www.ryot.org/22-children-stabbed-at-chinese... Other countries just find a different way to kill and have higher crime rates without guns.
A guy in my town hit a young girl with his truck. Two other young women were also killed by a truck. Should we ban trucks because two idiots drove them without being responsible for their own actions?
Is truck ownership a good thing?
Last year people with hand guns killed:
48 in Japan
8 Great Britain
42 West Germany
sorry that cliche doesn't work..check your facts on gun cotrol in places like Japan, Australia and England. Guns and nutters equal shootings. No emotive argument will solve the US problem.
