I have a student who insists that he listen to music in class. He said it keeps him from hearing voices. He has done bizarre things and I continually report him. My class is afraid and want him "out!" He has done court-ordered anger management.
This is absolutely frightening! Perhaps there is a school counselor or psychologist he can be referred to or one at a social services agency. He is not in music class and hearing voices is a problem. You are doing the right things in this case.
Express the counselor told me to write him up when he misbehaves and send him out. I must allow him to wear earphones with no music. This supposedly blocks the voices. He asked to do a solo, messed up, said "F*K" in mic and began beating head
First off, I must say to you GOD bless you. You are doing what you can in this difficult situation. Is there any way to get his family more involved and aware?
Express, they are very aware. There is a very violent history caused by a father who is in prison. He perpetrated the worst crimes possible on his daughters.
