I'm not so big on the detox front, however I do know that any type of berry (barring the poisonous one) are good at detoxing.
one of the 'superfoods' I am aware of is, as you say, Garlic, it boasts many medical benefits for us, including the decreased risk of cancer.
A few others are broccoli, perhaps the most beneficial vegetable to us, cucumber, great for hydrating us and providing us with an array of other benefits, and bell peppers.
Of course it goes without saying that most all vegetables should be incorporated into our daily eating habits, and once we do some research into their individual benefits, they begin to taste better. Not great, but better!
P.S! I almost forgot to mention water, a good eight pints a day for a couple of weeks can detoxify the majority of your body, even out skin tone and get rid of spots, eye bags and puffiness, minimise fatigue, eliminate midnight pangs of hunger and cut the risk of many cancers by as much as 90%! Most of the population of this planet are dehydrated, and don't even realise. This actually cuts your metabolism aswell!
