Do you believe in the Law of Attraction? if so why?

Do you really believe that you can attract to you all that you desire? Do you really believe you can bring about literally anything? and if so why?

Everything you have ever received was first a thought in your mind. It's really quite natural. First you have a desire. Then your attention is directed toward the location of it or you seek it.  After that, either it comes to you through other people or you have to go get it. People are using it everyday. Food, clothes, entertainment; whatever you want, everything starts with a thought in your mind.

Yes I do. The Law of Attraction though is govern by emotions+thought. Affirmations do not work, if you constant thinking backed by emotion is lack of anything. Today is the exact results of what you thought, backed with emotions in the past. This is also referred as the constant chatter-box in your head. If you are trying to become rich, for example, but are always living in fear you will become homeless, you will be getting opportunitues to help you with becoming homeless.

If you want to be rich but hate rich people, or think them immoral, you will always attract to you things that will keep your morals; meaning lack of money.

Our thoughts, opinions...everyday chatter and emotions are what creates. Until a person learns to live in the present, without a host of negative charged emotions, the positive view of attracting what they want will always be canceled out by their constant mind drum of negativity.

I do believe that in general, I get what I expect out of life.  If I harness my expectations and point them a positive direction, I will experience a great deal more positive results.  I do not believe this is an absolute.  There will be disappointments and circumstances outside my control which impact me negatively.  Those things I accept, but the things that are within my control are most certainly subject to the Law of Attraction, but not in an absolute way.  It isn't a magic formula for success.  It is a formula for a life of contentment.

The "law of attraction" is bologna. You can use positive and negative actions to affect the outcome of a situation, but, you can not do it merely with your mind. Yes your mind thinks the thought/desire first, but it relies on the body to achieve the goal by moving or talking. Without your actions, you would get nothing. Thus, I do not believe in the law of attraction.

I can prove you wrong. How do you explain things being given or handed to you that you told no one you wanted?

galleryofgrace:Some people just don't get it no matter how much you show them, they will only see the truth when they look for it.Otherwise it's as if they are blind.Good luck trying to prove it. You either believe in the LOA or not. rclinton doesn't

I believe that we "reap what we sow" If we are negative, we attract negativity. If we are positive, we attract positivity.

I do believe in the Law of Attraction. What you think, is what you will bring towards you. Think Positive, Positive Happens. Think Negative, Negative Happens.

I do believe very much in law of attraction.
I have read about it and then I just knew that it is very true from my own experience and so believe it.
Yes exactly, I do really believe that one can attract all that one desires so far.
Sure any thing literally and for that matter anything possible one can think of and wish for can be very attainable. But one has to be very focused for that and with all true intention from the core of the heart one has to very intentionally attract whatever is the desire/wish/dream so far. I have even seen in my own life one who do not know anything about Law of attraction but unknowingly attracting things as they were constantly thinking and talking about those. Negative or positive does not matter one will attract anything that is thought and talked about for sure.
    Thanks you.

LOA is a simplified concept around what I believe to be a more complicated system involving thoughts, emotions and actions. There is definitely an element of truth in there, but it's not just a question of asking and receiving. If we stopped "wanting" and just focussed on "doing" (action), wheels are set in motion that create sometimes wondrous consequences - this is  enough reason to believe that we could be fooling ourselves into thinking that there is some law making it all work for us. That said, I have experienced wondrous things in my life that have only happened once I STOPPED trying to make them happen, stopped wishing for them, stopped activity around them and let the thoughts just go,with a feeling of knowledge that what I want WILL come to me. Something works...and so long it keeps working I don't care if I'm fooling myself or not.
