I use to have that problem ages ago:). Milkshakes put weight on and if you not able to eat ice cream or drink milk, search for alternatives; soy milk, rice milk, coconut milk..
complex carbs will not put a lot of weight on you, unless you load them up with junk. french fries, anything battered, breaded and fried..extremely unhealthy
vegs add lots of cheese...baked potato all cheese chili, anything on top of it.
