   Most vaccinations should be recieved, such as HPV and meningitis. But not the flu shot.

   My opinion changed once I had children. One of them is allergic to the multi shot vaccine given to babies. It was a horrible reaction with tons of pain and a super high fever at age 6 mths. Now the doctors won't vaccinate her with anything. On top of that she will not be allowed to attend public schools here because they require them.
   I find it stupid that children are required to be vaccinated when our bodies should be our one and only thing that we have ultimate control of.
   With that said, I don't care what others choose to do, but after learning what happened with my daughter is common, no one in my house will be getting any more vaccines.

   I'm indifferent. I think some vaccinations are neccessary...others, not so much. For babies, I'd rather have the shots spread out.

   As for babies, the vaccination schedule is too many shots and too close together.  If you are going give babies vaccination, skips some of the less important ones and delay them and spread them out.   Use single vaccines and not multi-shot vaccines.

   All my children gone through the standard vaccinations as a preventive measures. And those are good and necessary.
   
   When comes to traveling, we also get ourselves vaccinated for preventive measures as well since we do not want to be caught up with something unknown in our vacation.

      I hadn't considered vaccination for traveling when I posed the question. I was more along the thought line of the mandatory and recommended vaccinations. Thank you for bringing that up

   I think Polio and Smallpox have proven vaccines to be a good thing.  I don't mind getting the flu though, I like to make my body work for it.  Why wouldn't I want some easy days off work anyways!

   I have seen too many bad side affects of vaccinations to ever support them.  The combination of multiple vaccines into one shot is stupid and careless.  My brother almost died from a vaccination, and my daughter ended up in the hospital with 105 degree fever.  She also went from a normally progressing child to one who tested on the spectrum for autism.
   Personally I have seen too much bad, read too many unbiased medical reports to ever believe the government again on the matter of vaccines or medicine.  Medications are the same way, go to the dr to get treated for a stomach problem, develop a side effect that requires another drug, then develop another, and so on and so forth.  Eventually you are taking 7 pills a day when all you had was stomach acid.  Its pathetic.

    I think vaccines are definitely a great advancement of modern science, and have helped many diseases here in the US and in other countries.  I think that in some ways though it is gone to far - do I agree all children should be vaccinated against polio and rubella? Absolutely.  Is it really necessary to get vaccinated against chicken pox if you haven't had it by age 5? In my opinion no.  Basically I think for things which are deadly, highly contagious etc. or which can only really be prevented through a shot (i.e. polio, MMR, tetanus etc.) then I am all for the vaccines, but when it comes to things like chicken pox, flu shot, Gardasil/HPV then I think we should get to make our own decisions.

    The ingredients list alone frightens me. The majority of vaccines are full of heavy metals as well as such things as stem cells taken from aborted human fetuses, monkeys and pigs. If lead paint causes such a panic, then why is there mercury in our vaccines? These ingredients (used as binding agents for combined vaccines) are poisons that we willingly inject into our childrens' bodies, often unknowingly because we accept the vaccine schedule given to us by the CDC.
    
    In 1986 children received a total of ten vaccines. I'm not great at doing searches, but in articles that I've read it's been suggested that in 2012 children were required to receive as many as 30+ vaccines. And the number is rising.
    
    For example, children are required in some states to receive a vaccination for HPV, which is a sexually transmitted disease. Twelve year olds are being vaccinated against this STD, and for what reason? One of my friends (a virgin) was required to take this vaccine in order to go to college. Why? She's in control of her own sex life, shouldn't she know whether or not she needs to be vaccinated against something that is only transmitted through sexual intercourse?
    
    Every year the list gets longer. Why? Many parents don't even know what they're vaccinating against, let alone what is in the vaccines that they're injecting into their children (and themselves).
    
    Many of the illnesses we vaccinate for aren't catastrophic, let alone deadly. There are exceptions. People with depressed immune systems need to do everything they can to prevent disease, and of course nobody wants to see another polio epidemic. It's happened recently, too, but the polio vaccine may be dangerous in and of itself.
    
    The decision is very individual, but the best thing for your immune system is natural medicine, including good nutrition, hygiene and exercise. Our bodies weren't made to have toxins put into them in the name of preventing disease. No matter how you cut it, these heavy metals are toxins.
    
    Check vaccine ingredients. As far as I'm concerned, that's all you need to know. No theory: just fact.

       Don't need to list opinions, Autism Omnibus proceedings through vaccine injury Compensation Program have awarded Hannah Poling, and Baily Banks families millions of dollars for their childrens autism.  sad the powers that be wont fix vaccines.
