   Ever feel like you just can't catch a break?
   
   In less than a month we've had a car totaled in an accident, my husband diagnosed with a form of neuralgia causing him to have to be out of work, I've had the flu, and my youngest child has a cold that won't go away. Anyone else ever have these moments where they feel they can't catch a break?

   Yes peeples, I think there are several who feel this way at times in our lives. It just makes one wonder, what have I done to deserve this bad karma? Bad things do happen to good people and likewise. Myself, I just keep praying.

   I often feel this way. Like that old saying "when it rains; it pours" it seems like when one thing happens other things just start piling up on top. I have learned to not stress it as much as I can and to keep praying. Prayer has gotten me through a lot of those tough times.

   Yes, everyone in my family has been sick since before Christmas. We can't seem to get over one thing before something else hits us. We've been on the verge of losing our house, the utilities have been turned off and on so many times I've lost count and now I can't afford to go get my meds (Bi-polar Disorder). Like snapbackbetty said "When it rains it pours". But that also goes for good times and blessings too. And I am just keeping on, pushing though, praying and persevering until I get past this time. But even on my darkest days I can still find the good things. My children are happy, my husband still has a job and we are still in love, my van made it to my daughter's school and back home this morning......... just find the blessings/good things and be thankful for them. Maybe we go through the these times to make us realize when we've really got it good. I pray that you can catch that break soon and come up for that sweet breath of fresh air.

   Yes definately and they're a pain, you just never get a let up and it leaves you feeling totally frazzled. On the plus side, these things do pass and things always settle down again!

   Absolutely!!! In the last year I left my husband, had to leave my children with him because I had nowhere to go (I see them nearly every single weekend but I was a stay at home mom, it's horrible), had no car, no job, no money, had to go to a battered woman's shelter. Borrowed a truck from my ex that broke down within a week, got screwed over by my only sibling, moved three times, lost two jobs, lost my driver's license, my daughter came to live with me and then moved back with her father because I couldn't drive her to the school she wanted to go to, I'm out of work, my boyfriends car broke down, I have $100's in fines to pay because I had no car insurance (couldn't afford it), I've been fighting my ex this entire time (he has some addiction problems I had to call CPS on him a couple months ago), I'm stuck out in the country so never get to go anywhere during the week, I had the Mirena birth control put in and the doctor cut my uterus so I was in excruciating pain for a couple of weeks, my ex refuses to pay for an attorney to get a divorce and lawyers won't help me because there was no recent physical abuse so I'm still married to him a year later and nothing in the works yet, and I found out two days ago that my ex has another girl pregnant. He's 35, she's 24. And I know there have been other ridiculous things that have happened in the last year but these are the things that were on the top of my head.
   
   I'm very sorry to hear that your husband is sick. I wish your family all the best.

      Wow, Your life sounds almost exactly like mine did 7 years ago. I've been there with the having to leave your children and go to a shelter part. Thankfully mine worked out and I hope yours does too!

   Yep. Yep. Yep. Sometimes, I can't shake bad luck off me to save my life. Then, all of a sudden I get a good break and I run with it like the wind. Imagine having a life where everything went as planned. Boring, right? Just kidding. I would really enjoy a solid week of having everything go as planned.

    All the time. It seems like every time things start looking up another bad thing happens and it sets be back even further. All we can really do is try and hope that eventually all out hard work is rewarded.
