I agree with Diana's observation about the ankle thing. Here's one natural method you can try for ankle and back pains / sprains. Apply pressure in the depression just in the back / behind the outer ankle bone. Use thumb to press hard. Do relief point in both ankle. Alternatively, here's how to do the pushing method: You may want to apply some oil (healing oil is better) for lubrication and heat. Use bulb of the thumb to stimulate the relief point (back of the outer ankle bone). Pushing is usually applied in series of 100 or more strokes at one time or per session.
