Many years ago, while working at Walk Through the Bible Ministries, I had the task of solving an issue with a laptop not printing. I took it to Toshiba tech support in Atlanta. They replaced the motherboard. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. Over weeks, they replaced the motherboard three times. Then I started looking at the problem from another angle. The inspiration came to try a different printer cable. When I used one with a plastic end, it worked. With a metal end, it was haphazard. Conclusion: the printer port had become magnetized. It was a lesson in looking at things differently.
