Hey mbwalz, you should totally write a Hub on this for the Weekly Topic Inspiration! It sounds like you've got TONS of knowledge and experience with different sleep aid products that would benefit others.
It's amazing to think that people slept sitting up, fearing death if they slept lying down at night. I agree that the "foundation" to a good night's sleep is the environment. Must not have tv in your room, should be dark and peaceful.
