How much of our stress is self-imposed and how much is unavoidable?

We are always doing what we think we ought to do but isn't a lot of it tradition and possibly unnecessary?

I agree, they do add stress to our lives, but in a sense we accept it. We can always choose to do what we consider necessary and politely ignore the external pressures can't we? I think our self-imposed pressures are mostly fed by insecurities.

I love the "face the challenge head on" approach. I would love to hear more about the "Speak Truth and Forget" style of living.

I agree, it is! The responsibility sharing thing is really a sore point. Sounds like people should do some more self/life re-evaluation!
