How do you handle your spouse' snoring?

I write this as I head to the couch yet again. The better half claims that she doesn't snore. Says she just breaths loud.....................she snores. I've done all the usual tricks, but nothing helps. How do you deal with your spouse' snoring?

This is what my wife does to me when I fall asleep first. We both snore, but I am the kinder gentler soul. We've both always snored. I'm worse when I'm extremely tired.

I used a set of headphones and a thunderstorm cd for a while, but I ended up with ear infections. I'm thinking this may be the reason my grandparents had separate bedrooms. :)

I would go for the big fan. White noise may help. We had a ceiling fan in our last home that had a rhythmic thump. It helped me fall asleep, but drove the wife nuts. She'd go sleep on the couch when it was hot. I wonder if they'd sell me that fan?
