What makes some people with siblings erroneously assume that only children are "missing

something" ,"be lacking" , and "be incomplete" as a result of having no siblings? Many people who grew up with siblings strongly opine that only children are often bereft of experiences because of their only child status. However, nothing is further from the truth. Only children have their parents, friends, relatives, and cousins for companionship. Siblings are NOT the be and end all to a child's compantionship.
