I love pure shea butter - not the watered down storebought stuff, but purchase good pure stuff from a supplier for those who make soap/lotion. Also coconut oil (organic, raw) works very well at reducing inflammation and deeply moisturizing the skin. Take Turmeric the spice, in supplement form and it can help your skin from the inside out as well.
If you are able, learn to make your own soaps and lotions - they'll be free from chemicals that further strip the skin that way. I make oatmeal soap in the winter that is lovely on my skin during the dry season.
Also, omega-3's you can take a flax or fish oil supplement and that helps keep skin (and your heart) healthy.
