I can recall once being absolutely terrified and even though I was in a warm environment, wrapped in a woolen blanket, I still started to exude persperation which immediately turned cold on my body; or at least felt cold. Any ideas as to why?
Its a natural body mechanism to keep your body cool. As you get nervous, you blood pressure starts to rise. As will your body temperature. This continues to happen until you calm down. Sweat is your body's way of keeping cool. The warmest parts of your body always sweat first.
