What makes some people afraid of success?


Some people remain in the same dead-end job for years, refusing to branch out or do anything to improve themselves. Are they satisfied with their lot in life or are they simply afraid of leaving their comfort zone?

    As a child I was just the opposite of what you describe. I had no fears, I didn't mind the teacher reading my essays to the class. Now, I'm much more reserved.

    We see that a lot in children because many of them can't deal with peer pressure, but you would think that as adults they would be willing to try that last shot. Great comment!
