I have been trying for so many years to break the habit of worrying, especially about things over which I have no control. I know, without a doubt, most of what I worry about won't happen, & I remind myself of this all the time, but it's still such a hard habit to break. Do any of you got through this as well? How do you deal with it?

I definitely need to make more time for meditation!
I tell myself those things as well plus, ad you put it, "bad luck" or in other words, the law of attraction...you attract what ypu put out. I have gotten better, but I guess it just takes time.
Your right Bk42author it takes practise & time, that's it....You just focus on whatever is happening at whatever time, & you stay focused in the moment..For example when you shower what do you "think" about, the answer always be should be sho
Very true. When you gone thru so many hard times it's hard to let go , especially when things are going well. When things are calm & running smoothly I start getting in the mindset of what can possibly go wrong. It's a tough habit to break.
I like you have had a lot of lets say challenges & i'm still here & so are you..So well done to you, & well done to me..Ask yourself what have you learnt from your challenges, not about other people but about yourself..I bet your a better
