I'm both....so you may think that I don't get enough sleep, but I do. I've always been a night owl and can't seem to break the habit.....and that's all it is. There's no reason for me to be up late.
Well...that' not true, exactly. I stay up late for Jimmy Fallon.....Except.....sometimes I will go to bed early and set my alarm to wake up for Jimmy.
My dog (and sometimes my cat)...wake me up really early, because they want to go out....the dog, NOT the cat. My cat is an indoor cat only! But, while the dog is out, I make a cup of coffee. If I'm still really tired, I will go back to bed and sleep another hr or 2. Either way, I'm up and about by 7.
If I wear out during the day from doing a lot.....I will take a nap....since retiring, I can take guilt-free naps. Not power naps.....can't do power naps. My naps are a couple of hrs. long.
Some nights I will go to bed EARLY...like 8 pm. if I'm totally exhausted......and sleep right through the night.
My dog wakes up no later than 5 am....he's a pain in my ash. If I don't let him out....he'll pee on the floor..1.) because he has to go and 2.) to punish me.
Did I go all over the place with this answer, gf? Hope I gave you enough info!! One day I want to normalize my habits.....just go to bed at a decent hour and get up early, stay up and get at least 8 or 9 hrs of sleep a night...all the time. BTW....going up now to get into bed...G'night Sweetheart!
