Is there that one mistake you have made that you wish you could go back and make it a 'do over'?

Is there some decision you made that later turned out to be one that you later regretted, big time?
Hindsight truly does seem to be 20/20. If we knew all of the answers before we make a choice, it definitely would influence our thinking...at least for me anyway.

I'm not sure everyone has regrets, but I would think that everyone has done something they would like a re-do on in life. If not they've done quite well.

I think you are probably right. I can think of one thing in particular that would have changed my life had I made a different choice. But as it happens all turned out well. And I am thankful. Angels are on the way

There are many regrets that I have through life, and three stick out distinctly.  I am still struggling and praying on those three things, and can’t even imagine why I made those decisions so poorly.  I just hope in the future through a lot of prayer, and some added wisdom I will not make such large mistakes in the future. Great question!  Thank you

I think, Dear Lisa, that we all have at least one experience we would 'do over' if possible. However since that is not possible, trying to let that mistake or miscalculation teach us a lesson can make a huge difference in our lives.

I try not to have regrets about anything. Even if i think I may have made a bad choice somewhere along the line. I'm not sticking my head in the sand over things but rather just trying to take it on the chin and move on. As far as changeing something, I think that whatever we have done in the past, for good or bad, It's what has brought us to where we are today and made us into who we are. So, as the song goes, regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention.

Good for you.  It is pointless for us to try to dwell on what is done. But in the cases where I have wished I had made a different choice  I have l learned what I would NOT do the next time.

Yes, I have allowed others to make decisions for me and I am not sure if it is because I am a peacekeeper that I just went along with it. I can't blame anyone but myself for not speaking up and doing or not doing for what is in my best interest. For instance, when me and my live in boyfriend decided to get married because I found out I was expecting, my mom planned my wedding. If it was left to me I probably would have never married my now ex-husband.

O yes..I know how that goes. It sounds as though that you are wiser and stronger and that is a good thing. Angels are on the way to you.

There are many mistakes that I’ve made in life and wish that I could have corrected them. But yeah, there are a few mistakes that I wish from the core of my heart that if I got the chance I would have done something that would have corrected the whole thing. Once I took one my relatives to the hospital and I was appointed to stay with him at night. I was very tired as I had to stay out of town due to office works prior to that day. But as I was the only adult male available in the group of relatives, I got the responsibility automatically. After the doctors went away for the night, I stayed with the relative in the room. Yeah there were doctors outside the room. All I need to do was to inform the doctors if I see something wrong. I was awake for the next 3-4 hours. But I got asleep for 25-30 minutes. In that short time span, the incident took place. The oxygen mask of that relative was misplaced somehow and he was suffering from breathing problem. This continued for quite some time and eventually he died. The nurse came almost 15 minutes after that and screamed. Only then I got the real situation.

This incident has a great effect on my life even up to this day and I really feel if I had not slept for that 25-30 minutes!!
