Immune system like any other system needs adecuate resources to keep functioning at its best.

Well It's simple in this case just keep your boddy in activity at least 1 hour of excercise daily.

Have an apple a day, sleep at least 8 hours if possible, drink lots of water, pure water, lots of milk and lots of fruit juice.

Avoid sugar if possible eat meat al least once a week, eggs once a week, keep your system running with yogurt.

Eat everyday vegetables a tomato a day, with some carrots, and if possible some brocoli too, try not to boile the vegetables but water steem them.

Now a bit of your body temperature, try to keep it warm not to hot not to cold if you feel temperature rising just take of your sweater, do not change your body climate to quickly try to do it slowly, if your sweating and cold your body suddenly you are going get the flu.

Wash your hands with lots of soap and lots of water.

And finally once again drink lots of water, juice, and milk, have an apple a day.

Improving the immune system starts with a proper diet. It also begins with knowing what your food intolerances are. Many do not know that they are intolerant of Gluten containing foods. If you suffer from inflammation or digestive issues, cutting gluten can reduce these issues.

Fruits and veggies are very important, but one must moderate the fruits as they are higher in sugars. Veggies should be as raw as possible, and when cooked steamed lightly. Juicing is also another Great option for fruit and veggie consumption.

Cutting refined sugars and processed foods is also necessary, as these can feed pathogens in our systems.

Learning and understanding about supplements is also very important. Things like Olive Leaf Extract and Oil of Oregano, which are both natural antibiotics, are also very good for immune support. Additional things like, Elderberry, and Aged Garlic are good supplements to take.

Additionally, supporting the adrenals, so we maintain proper hormone levels, such as cortisol, is vital to regulated sleep and healing.  And during the flu season, Vitamin D3 is another vital supplement.

Feeding your body as it was designed to consume is vital to overall health.

First you need to know if you have a weak immune system. If you catch a cold more then once a year your immune system is moderately weak. However if it's not a cold and is an allergy, this means your immune system is a little too strong, because it reacts to and fights everything. If you find your immune system is weak then Vitamin. C and Vitamin B complex (Bee Pollen is a great source of the B vitamins) Will help quickly. It could take up to 6 months to get into your system.

Personally, I'm a big supporter of five servings of fruits and vegetables per day, because that works really well for me.  New evidence suggests that a lack of vitamin D is what causes increases in flu in the winter.  For this reason, take vitamin D3.  Otherwise, get 15 minutes of sunshine every day, so your body can make vitamin D.

Sesame Seed Oil stimulates the formation of healthy blood cells, enhances vitamin E activity, promotes healthy blood-fat levels, and supports proper liver and immune system function.
It has been used as a healing oil for thousands of years. Sesame oil is mentioned in the Vedas as excellent for humans.
A massage using sesame oil is recommended as part of any daily routine because it rejuvenates and revitalizes the physiology.
In order to improve immune function, rub sesame seed oil allover the body and massage it in starting from your scalp all the way down to the soles of your feet. You will notice the rejuvenation as the sesame seed oil cleanses your body from any toxins and prepares your body to heal itself.

The funnest way to improve your immune system that actually works is to have regular massages or at least intensive touching. The skin is a very sensitive regulation system and when the flu comes around, have your partner give you a nice body rub.

It also helps not to ban all sources of potential hazard from your life. If your body is regularly fighting small helpings of virusses and bacteria, it raises a fit and ready fighting force when the big one comes around.

One of my first hubs was related to this question.  I concluded that the single most powerful improvement was getting additional Vitamin C.  This can be accomplished easily by taking supplements in pill form or taking a product call "Emergen-C".  Check out my hub for additional information regarding this subject at:

Don't ask about the URL - I used an existing hub and just changed the title and didn't know how to change the address.

Get 1 pint of uncooked corn pap and mix with 10 teaspoon full of vegetable oil, and half pint of pineapple juice. Allow to ferment and never place in the fridge.

Divide this into 3 places and drink 3 times daily (morning, afternoon, and evening)

The dosage should double in sever cases.

Chronic stress is a slow poison for immune system. Keeping relaxed through exercises, meditation, yoga, brainwave entrainment are some of the ways to keep the immune system healthy.

Most of the stress and worries can be avoided by developing correct mental attitude towards life, money, relations and people around us.

Excercise on a daily basis, take your vitamins everyday and make sure you eat healthy. Most important of all do not drink or smoke or do any type of drugs as this will suppress the immune system to limited functionality. If you follow all of these steps to a better health. I guarantee you will feel much better.
