I read an article today that said we feel busier today than ever before because we aren't dealing with the stress of life all that well. I work a long week in my regular job but on the way Home I really enjoy riding a pushbike.I can use the exercise to burn off any stress that I feel and get home feeling less frustrated. Not only helping my physical health but also the mental health as well. My question is what do you do for the stress relief?

I find prayer always works. 'What a friend we have in Jesus ' is my favorite hymn. I find myself singing it often
They say that when you're in the Garden you're next to God as he planted the first garden. So glad you enjoy the garden and are able to keep up with family.

I've always wanted to try Ice Hockey. Probably getting a bit old for that now (I never admit that normally). Last time I tried ice skating I spent more time on my butt than on the skates, but it was great fun

Maybe I shouldn't have said the 'too old' as I'm only 17 third time around!! Rugby is the same though. fast good for quick decisions and if you're not quick enough, man it's going to hurt!!!
In old timers hockey, hitting is not allowed; although, some contact does occur. Also viscosity is reduced since bones tend slide when they hit ice rather than taking a significant impact directly...

Thanks Venkatachari! I will soon even become "younger" thus I should even be faster. I will turn 11 for the 5th time; although my wife is quick to correct me and state rather sarcastically that "John, your mental age is more like 5 for the 11th time"

Singing or humming is more effective than chanting. No need to have a good tone. Catch a phrase or line and go playing with it as pleasing as you can. That works great to relieve all the tension. I do this sometimes, but take care nobody hears you.
When I'm trying something that I know is going to push me to my limit I often find myself humming then singing Queen's "We are the Champions" It definitely gets me in the frame of mind that I can achieve whatever it is I'm trying to do.
I might need to hide this as my wife would want all of these! They sound great though
