What are the 9 ways that middle, upper middle, and/or upper class, successful parents can motivate a

very intelligent yet unmotivated young adult who really doesn't have a foreseeable goal, haven't any desire to do anything significant with his/her life, or better yet just meander aimlessly throughout life?Being born into an environment where there are myriad socioeconomic and sociocultural opportunities in addition to lovely, involved parents DOESN'T mean that the child is going to be highly successful, even having a modicum of success in life. There are children with all the opportunity available yet are simply............NOT MOTIVATED!

I totally agree!! Too many parents interfer with "natural consequences," and as a result children fail to learn important life lessons.

The contextual definition of young adult in this instance is anyone from 18 -25 years of age. H/she hopefully has a high school diploma, is attending college or technical school.
