The way that I start my day is saying Good Morning to all the pets in the house as soon as I open my eyes and move.  Two of the girls will come and try to lay on my chest.  Charlie, who lays at my feet will start to purr when I tell him Good Morning. If Sidney isn't on the bed already, he will peek around the corner of the door and I say Good Morning and he purrs right then and there and he requires no morning pat...yet.  When I get up he follow me into the bathroom and then he wants pet and he wraps around my feet.  Then I go int eh living room and find Little Bits and tell her Good Morning.  Oh I forgot about Duke our dog, he gets told Good Morning when I go around the bed and I swipe my foot across his head to get over him.
That is how I start my morning every single day.
Second is feeding all theindoor animals and the going out back to feed our new cat Frederick and pet him.  Then I go out the front door and feed Mikey and say Good morning to both when I do pour the dry food in their dishes.
Then I am ready to sit down with my first cup of coffee and relax.
    Good Morning to Everyone!!

I start with prayer, then thirty minute exercise and reading Our Daily Bread Magazine.

I just think of all the reasons why I'm happy to be where I am that day. It could be anything, really. The whole point is to shift yourself away from a negative mindset, even if it's just for five minutes. Then start your morning routine.

You'll feel a little more chipper in the morning. smile

Take 10-15 Minutes To Reflect By setting aside a little time every morning to calm your thoughts and positively reflect, you can set the tone for your entire day.
