Recently, I came across an article which says 10,000 steps a day keeps you fit. Is it practical to take 10,000 steps a day? I presume, on an average, I might be taking 3000 to 4000 steps a day. This is a rough estimation as I am not using any gadgets to count the number of steps? How many steps do you take?

I was not aware of this fact. So the point is one has to be active and should appropriately be increasing the activity level.
