I crack up every time I see someone using a leaf blower. It's not taking up leaves; it's blowing them elsewhere...sort of like lifting up a rug and sweeping things under it. When I think about it, I can't remember seeing a woman using a leaf blower. That cracks me up. What do you think?

The tarp sounds like a great way to do it. The husband attachment cracks me up. I'm surprised there isn't a cup holder for a beer on leaf blowers.
I often see people blowing leaves and other debris out of their yards and into the street. That's a problem with the owner and not the tool. When I had a larger yard, I used the tarp method, but with a rake rather than a noisemaker...er leaf blower.
It's funny because I don't often see people putting the leaves in bags or trash cans. Leaf blowers out there, do you dispose of your leaves? I really do think it's funny that leaf blowers are usually men...hmmmmmm.....
Now that you mention it, I don't recall ever seeing a woman using a leaf blower. Stereotypically, most men seem to like their power tools. Given the choice, I prefer quiet.
