What are the causes of a bloated feeling?

The ill feeling  as in the bloated feeling  is  not a good feeling. How do you know if the bloated  feeling  needs  the doctor's attention?

Well, from a non medical view point I might say that if it the person is a woman and this bloating is not related to her natural cycles, and the bloating does not go away after three days then it might definitely would be worth seeing a doctor.  If the person is a man, as I am, then 2 days of bloating are too much.  Of course I would try to rid myself of this naturally first, vinegar, taken properly, works wonders.

Few of the herbs that we Indians try at the time of bloating are Aloevera Juice, Heeng (Asafoetida), Ajwain (Carom seeds), Harad, Vinegar etc. One may try any of them. Still if the problem is not sorted out, consult a doctor.

If it is causing pain, seek medical attention. If drinking water doesn't help with what you thought water water retention or passing gas doesn't relieve it, talk to a doctor.

If this happens a few hours after eating something, then that something you ate or drank is the most likely cause. Any number of natural or processed foods can cause an intolerance, either mild or excruciating, depending on your body's reaction to it. Everyone's different.

If it's mild, most people just go on consuming the problem food, not realizing the damage its doing to their immune system. Coffee or chocolate can be problematic for many people without them realizing it. Broccoli is also a bloat-inducing food for some. Anything with wheat in it is not assimilated all that well by the digestive system. Sugar is by far the worst thing you can eat, so eliminating that..especially artificial sweeteners goes a long way to promoting good health.

The solution of course, is to pay attention to what your body is telling you, and eliminate such foods from your diet.
