You need the right medication at the right dosage, and a psychologist with whom you can speak naturally. He/She can teach you about behavior modification. Affirmations won't help because they encourage you to remain passive. However, memorizing the 23rd Psalm of the Bible is useful. It will give you hope during those moments when you feel hopeless.
