   whats so bad about head lice
   
   well my child has head lice and i'm using everything to get rid of them

   i had head lice when i was in grade school, it's really gross
   my mother used lemon oil that she bought from the pharmacy to get rid of it
   she massages my hair and scalp with lots of the lemon oil before i go to bed
   then she puts a white towel over my pillow where my head would rest
   then in the morning when i wake up...viola!
   dead lice galore on the white towel
   then i would shampoo my hair to get rid of the oil and any remaining lice
   we did it for several consecutive days and i had healthy, shiny hair
   and scalp that is lice free

   Although head lice is considered disgusting, my little Johnny has benefited from having them. He used to have such bad dandruff that I could fill up a dust pan with all the flakes that fell out of his hair. It got so bad that one time a few of his dandruff flakes fell into my bowl of corn flakes and unknowingly, I ate them. They actually didn't taste too bad, all things considered.
   
   The good thing about head lice is that they work together as a team to eat up all of the dandruff flakes in your child's hair. My Johnny had a nice, glossy mullet after they finished doing their work. I let them stay in his hair for one week to make sure all signs of dandruff were gone. After that, we simply put Johnny in the car, drove him downtown to the local fire station, and had one of our neighbors (who is a volunteer firefighter) hose him down. Voila! No more dandruff and no more head lice!
