Depressive disorders are often difficult to spot, therefore, it is highly recommended that the person in question be seen by their Doctor.. Your family doctor may prescribe a medication to help with depression. If this is the case it is extremely important to take meds as directed and never just stop taking them.
I am not a doctor, but some of the symptoms are:
1. Crying often and excessively
2. Spending too much time in bed
3. A negative attitude
4. Panic Attacks
5. A feeling of hopelessness
Studies have proven that even a little exercise, such as walking, may help in treating depression.
The problem is...when a person is deep in depression, they do not want to walk. So the first step is getting them to a Doctor.
My best to you.
