For most of those who have metabolism issues the slow kind at least eating what we want at any given time whenever we can is a challenge.          I have a fetish for things salty and spicy and my poison is potato chips...even at the movies I bring... read more

Unless you are one of these extremely rare cases where your hormones are out of bonk.  Or you have some other rare medical problem, so often used by overweight people, eat less, exercise more, generally is the most efficient way.

It is possible that these tips are not suitable for you if you have certain health problems. At the slightest doubt or if you have not had long medical history, a consultation with your physician is advised

Our weight is largely regulated by the hypothalamus, a small gland located at the base of the brain.

The hypothalamus controls our appetite, but also our "reference weight", i.e, the weight it deems desirable for us.

The hypothalamus reacts to many situations: stress, anger, frustration, depression .... which according to the case will stimulate or suppress appetites.

How the hypothalamus regulates Does our weight? Mainly based on our physical activity. Our physiology has not changed much since our hunter-gatherer ancestors.

They walked or ran slowly much of the day and were occasionally track accelerations when the game had to flee predators or dangerous.

They practiced so, what is now called training "aerobic" training and "anaerobic"

Very briefly, the activities "aerobic" jogging, walking, biking, swimming ... practiced regularly increase the flow of blood that the heart can send in your arteries. As the ability of muscles to use fat as fuel rather than muscle

I would say focus on your lifestyle, and extreme amounts of uynhealthy food intake, lack of exercise, etc.  Anything you consider to be preventing weightloss, remove it, replace it with the better alternative -

eating too much junk - start eating small healthy meals instead
watching tv or sitting down for hours a day - get up and go for a walk

    not drinking water - start

    etc...

look at your lifestyle 'cons' and turn them into 'pros'....

For an obese person to lose weight it is very simple, usually they are not even getting any exercise so even a short 5 minute brisk walk will help them lose weight. If they simple eat 4 less portions per day and add in a 5 minute walk to their day this will get them to lose weight quickly.
