There are three ways to attack depression:
1. Start exercising -- preferably do it vigorously. Try working on most muscles of the body, which activates the neuromuscular connections -- that in turn stimulates the mind.
2. Don't stay alone or idle -- both feed negative thinking.
3. Read self help motivating books; they not only inspire you but give you fresh ideas to look at your situation.
4. Talk about your feelings -- with friends, counselor or whomever.
