You need to avoid fad diets and stick to good old traditional eating healthy, in moderation and excersise. The fad diets may be good for a while but as soon as you stop you put all the weight back on, cancelling out all of your hard work which certainly isnt worth it.

im not sure if i am qualified because i am a fast food junkie and have never been fat, but i would say that jogging at a 70% speed for a long time makes me sweat and burn a lot more than anything else. The most important thing is to actually do it! if you keep looking for advice, you may learn something useful but it would just be time wasted actually exercising

Get a prescription amphetamine like vyvanse from your doctor, and start a running or jogging routine.  Start off walking if you have to.  Stop drinking alcohol, non-diet sodas, and milk.  Eat salads, lean meats, and fiberous grains, like oatmeal daily-but not too much.  Count your calories, and set goals for increased exercise.

Exercise more, eat less, that is the only way, unless you have one of those extremely rare medical conditions that causes excess weight to build up.

Eat less but more often so you don't get hungry, drink water before you eat (we often feel hunger when we are actually thirsty). Eat stuff with low calories, but avoid all the sweeteners and other chemical additives. Eat fruit, cucumber, carrots, watermelon, raw cauliflower etc. Just keep your stomach happy. I also use meal replacement powder once a day for lunch - i have a good breakfast and then a good dinner - lots of salad, raw veggies, and enough protein to keep me feeling satisfied. See what makes you feel satisfied, it's not the same for everyone!

I don't do 'denial' and would rather do without than plan my week around low fat, low cal,low sugar, low taste foods. So what works well for me is a bowl of special k and skimmed milk(long life because it;s creamier) for breakfast - fresh fruit, tea, coffee with sweeteners or low cal drinks through the day 'as and when' and then for my evening meal I have whatever I fancy with a diet drink to fill me up before I eat so that I'm half full already and don't pig out. (should add that i don't really like water).
This way I can look forward to my meal each day, I'm not doing without or "not allowed" anything at all. And I'm no different to anyone else in the family. It's surprising how quickly not eating lunch becomes a habit and the pounds drop off effortlessly.

My answer is really very simple -  Eat healthy, exercise regularly, and stay healthy. Evey single morning the first thing is to drink a glass of plain water. No supper after 9 pm. That's my routine lifestyle. Hope it will help.
