are sketchers shape up shoes also good for jogging or running?
The process that shape ups use to tone muscles is to hyper extend them while you walk. This is risky for jogging, as you are right on the edge of tearing your hamstring and calf ligaments and tendons. A brisk walk is what I would consider the limit.
There's doubt to whether these types shoes even work at all or are just a deceptive scam by the shoe companies who produce them. New Balance's True Balance and Reebok's Easytone's are the subject of a class action lawsuits over their claims.

I'd really just stay away from these types of shoes, as they could do more harm than good.
