The health benefits of beetroot juice!
- The beetroot is a bit hard to digest. It is oily, cool, nutritious and bile controller. It improves the quality of the blood. It reddens and vitalises the body. The betaine content of the beet helps in cleansing the stomach and the intestine. Beetroot juice can even cure cancer. In France, there have been many experiments on the use of very large quantities of beet-juice to aid recovery in cases of malignancy. In Germany, the juice is available in bottles. It is widely used as a powerful restorative during convalescence.
- Beetroot juice is harmless and beneficial. As it is rejuvenating, it is effective in every type of weakness. It also purifies the blood and brings redness to the body.
- Beetroot contains copious amounts of Vitamin-C, folic acid and potassium, and silica which makes it a useful antidote to eating too much salt and a contributor to lowering blood pressure. Silica aids the uptake of calcium.
So it would be healthy to take just one glass of beetroot juice daily or once in two days atleast.
