Happiness is important and it's a feeling that every individual pursues to experience. Are you a happy person? How does it feel when you're happy? It feels so good since it brings a state of mind that is calm. The things we do in life on a daily basis, we do them with the aim that we may become happy after completing them.
Life is full of challenges and we are always competing so as not to lag behind in life. Every parent will be proud and happy to have children who are obedient, happy, responsible, loving and successful in life. A happy family is the one that is surrounded with love. When there is love in the family, siblings will take care of one another. Siblings accommodate the feelings of one another and they do not harm each other by being deceitful or hypocritical (stubbing at each other's back) but offer help where they can. Parents also have peace of mind and this makes them to live longer since they have a loving family.
A family that lacks love is always unhappy since it has many problems that are rarely solved as a family. Parents become distressed and suffer from diseases brought about by depression like stomach ulcer, high blood pressure etc. Such a family has children who are busybodies. Children hate one another and they do not care for each other. Unhappy family that lacks love quarrels more often and children rise against one another.
Have you read the story of Cain and Abel? Genesis 4:9 "Then the lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?" This is one occurrence in the Holy Bible whereby a brother lacked love. Cain did not love his own brother. Cain became uncomfortable because his brother Abel got blessings from God. Instead of Cain being happy of his brother's blessing from God, he became jealous of him.

Life is too short therefore we should make use of it and live to its fullness. Ecclesiastes 9:10 "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going." We should not waste time in focusing on things that make us anxious. There is a lot we can do that will make us to progress in life instead of worrying thus becoming unhappy. All of us are gifted and we should appreciate the gifts we possess by making use of them to our best level.
