If you feel tired and exhausted in the morning, then your sleep is not as it should be. Every day worries could ruin your sleep as well as some health problems. Sometimes it is hard to make a perfect sleeping atmosphere, but trying these tips for better sleep may help you to get more relaxed and rested in the morning:

1.       Make a sleeping schedule. Going to bed at the same tame every day, will teach your body when is a “sleeping time”, and you will fall asleep much faster as well.

2.       Exercise regularly. For a good sleep you should be not just mentally tired, but physically as well.

3.       Don’t drink coffee or alcohol in the evening. Caffeine a brain stimulator, so you can’t sleep well if you took a nice big cup of coffee before bed. Instead, try with a cup of milk or some tea that doesn’t contain caffeine. Alcohol is a brain depressor, but it disrupts sleep, so it is not a good idea to take a few shoots before bed.

4.       Don’t eat large amounts of food before sleep. Light dinner is a good dinner. It is easier to fall asleep if you are hungry then with a stomach full of food.

5.       Your bedroom should be quiet, dark, cool and comfortable. If there is too much noise or light, use earplugs and eye covers. Mattress you use has to be comfortable. If your body can’t relax well, you will wake up with a back or neck pain in the morning, and your sleep will be interrupted many times during night.

6.       Make a sleep ritual. Every night before you go to sleep, do the same thing. It could be drinking a cup of tea, or milk, showering, listening some relaxing music, watching family pictures, whatever you want. Just manage to do the same thing every night before sleep. Sleep ritual is maybe the most powerful of all tips for better sleep, so don’t hesitate to think of your own sleep ritual.

7.       If you can’t fall asleep, then don’t sleep! Get out of bed and do something else. After an hour or so, when you feel tired, go back to bed and try to sleep.

8.       Check out some natural products that can help you sleep, such as Valerian drops.

9.        Don’t take sleeping pills on your own. Those pills should be prescribed by a doctor. Sleeping pills induced sleep is not as same as natural induced sleep, it does not have the same quality and effect. So use sleeping pills as a last resort.

Sometimes sleep problems can be a symptom of some organic disease such is sleep apnea. If you have sleeping problems for a long period of time, then you should see your doctor. Most people has periods of sleepless nights and these tips for better sleep will work for most of them.
