What would B.J. Do? - Can you imagine what B.J. Palmer would do with social media and Chiropractic internet marketing?

Chiropractic Marketing in 2010: What Would B.J. Do?
Chiropractic Marketing in 2010: What Would B.J. Do?

One day I found myself trying to convince an older colleague that they really need to start a website for their Chiropractic practice. I was also trying to explain the benefits of social media and social networking sites. After much frustration and little progress I began thinking...what would B.J. Palmer do if he were alive today? There is a reason BJ Palmer is known as the Developer of Chiropractic. He was a bit of a marketing genius and he definitely was NOT afraid to embrace new marketing possibilities. What sort of Chiropractic marketing would B.J. Palmer come up with if he had access to the internet and sites like facebook and twitter?

B.J. Palmer seized every marketing opportunity available at the time to promote Chiropractic. I have no doubt he would embrace the internet and social media without hesitation. This is what makes me so frustrated when I try to convince resistant colleagues who simply won't open their mind and try their hand at Chiropractic internet marketing.

What do you think? What would B.J. do with the power of the internet and social media? This hypothetical question was so much fun to think about it actually inspired a blog post over at the ChiropracticPR.com blog.

I first heard of Mr. Palmer from my cousin and aunt. They are Chiropractic doctors. I myself am a retired surgical RN. So any person who made a mark on medicine was always an interest to me. Great job.

I believe very strongly in Chiropractic - it is all that I have used for myself for about 20 years (no drugs or MD's), and I take my elderly mother in to a wonderful Chiropractor every 2 weeks for maintenance. It keeps us quite healthy!

Fascinating! I love lenses like this where one learns so much and gains a real insight. It's obvious that you have put a lot of thought and effort into the lens and created a real resource. Blessed by a passing Squid Angel
