Hair Transplant in Goa - Cost, Procedure And Everything Else
Do you think your life would have been better if you had better hair?
Are you conscious about your hair? Do you believe they or the lack of them makes you look unattractive and unappealing? Are you obsessively searching for hair loss treatment online?
Well, you're not alone. There are millions of people all over the world who are insecure about their hair and would do anything to get them back.
The obsession with hair stems from insecurity. You may believe that people judge you because of your hair and the women are not attracted to you because you don't have a head full of hair, so you hide yourself from the world. You let this be an excuse to not going after the things you want and the people you want.
Bust mostly it's not your hair that fails you but your mindset. You have already decided to give up even before trying.
Of course I know it's easier said then done. The psychological effects of balding can be devastating and just telling someone to ignore it is insensitive.
How hair fall affects your life
Visible scalp is not the only thing that hair falls leads to, you lose your confidence, you get insecure and self conscious and your self esteem takes a hit.
A head full of hair is associated with youth and vitality, and losing that makes us feel old and close to the end. Which is depressing.
The loss of self esteem will affect your social life. You'll be likely to avoid social situations, less confident in meeting new women and overall too conscious about the problem.
The psychological effects of balding are underestimated by those who are not suffering from it.
For those who do may suffer from anxiety and depression.
More than men, women are likely to have a difficult time adjusting to hair loss. Feeling unattractive can crush a women's self esteem a lot more than men.

What can you do about it?
Most of you who are reading this are probably bald at some level and are wondering weather to go for hair transplant or if there is any other way.
No article, blog post or video can give you the perfect answer to this question.
If you try, you'll end up obsessively reading a dozen articles and wasted a huge amount of time researching and still have no exact clue on what to do.
You honestly think you can come up with a better diagnoses than those doctors who have expertise in the field? They've put in years of hard work to master their fields. They know much better about hair transplant than you.
If you really want help with your problem, just google for hair transplant clinics near you who offer free consultation. Look for the one with good reviews and call for an appointment.
How it works
In a hair transplant surgery, the surgeon moves the hair from the area with hair to the target area.
The surgeon cleans your scalp and injects anesthesia so that you won't feel any pain.
There are two transplant methods. follicular unit strip surgery (FUSS) and follicular unit extraction (FUE)
1. FUT ( Follicular Unit Transplantation)
The surgeon removes a strip of skin from the back of your head. It is then set aside and the scalp is sewed closed.
Then they divide the strip of removed scalp into 500 - 200 grafts. Each graft can contain multiple hair. What kind of graft and the amount you get depends on the hair type, quality, color, and the size of the area to be operated on.
2. FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
FUE is the modern technique of hair restoration. It is a more advanced method of hair transplants than FUT
In the FUE transplant surgery, the surgeon removes individual follicular units directly from the donor area and then they are replanted into the scalp.
Expectations and Recovery
After the surgery the scalp becomes very tender and you may even feel pain. The surgeon will prescribe you pain medication. You will have to wear bandages over your scalp for at least a couple of days. He may also prescribe an antibiotic and some other medication for you to take for several days.
The transplanted hair will fall out around 2 weeks after the procedure. Most people will see 60% of new hair growth after 6 to 9 months. Some surgeons prescribe the hair-growing drug minoxidil (Rogaine) to improve hair growth after transplantation, but it’s not clear how well it works.
Which one would you prefer? Cheaper or Quality treatment?
Cost of treatment
Hair transplant is not cheap. And for a good reason. The good clinics hire and pay highly qualified and trained people to do the job, so that you only get the best treatment.
You should only focus on the cost after you've verified the quality and effectiveness of the treatment. What's the point of getting a transplant if it's not done perfectly. You'll still have to deal with the insecurities.
Back to the cost of treatment. The cost varies from clinic to clinic and person to person depending upon your condition.
I'm listing the cost listed by clinics all over India, but if you want a accurate number you can just go to a hair transplant clinic that offers a free consultationand get an estimate.

I've just listed the costs of hair transplant procedures from clinics around the country. I do not endorse any of these and I haven't verified any of them either. So do proper research before you opt for a treatment and get a consultation first.
Because of the advancements in technology the hair transplant procedure is the safest it has ever been. But however advanced the methods, some risk is always involved. Hair transplant is no exception.
There is a risk of infection, in which case you should look for the signs and contact the doctor immediately. Also, there's a chance of scarring.
Some patients might end up getting unnatural looking hair, which defeats the purpose of the whole thing, so rather then trying to find the cheapest option put some time into finding out about the quality of service of a clinic.
What happens after the hair transplant
For 3 days you have to be careful, but after that you can resume most of your regular activities. For 7 days you have to avoid swimming and other activities that involve wearing an helmet.
There is a time after the surgery, usually 2 to 3 months, which is called the dormant period. Only about 20-30 percent hair grows during that time. And about 50-60 percent growth you'll see from fifth to eighth month. You can expect full growth in 10 months.
Hair transplant is a serious issue that's affecting the self esteems of millions of people all over the world, and it can't be taken lightly.
If you have hair loss and it's having a negative impact on your life, you should consider investing in treatment.
Don't procrastinate. Get Help. Now.
The longer you wait the more damage it does.
