Diatomaceous Earth Kills Parasites

Updated on April 10, 2013

Diatomaceous Earth and Parasites

Diatomaceous earth, commonly known as DE, has hundreds of uses. DE has been used for many years to deworm pets and has been used more recently in humans. With the ingestion of Sushi and other raw types of seafood, or with eating undercooked meats or contaminated food products, there are more instances than ever before of worms in humans. Most people do not realize the amount of parasites that exist in their body but this website should help you understand that we are loaded with them.

Diatomaceous earth is safe for humans and their intestines. What happens is that if you have any parasites in your system, the parasites will get DE on them and literally "dry up". If the parasite eats the DE, their insides will be sliced up. In comparison to humans, it is like eating shards of glass.

We hope you enjoy this website and please leave us comments below! Thanks for visiting!

@Scarlettohairy: This is why I put it on, it is very dangerous to eat raw food in any form. I buy food grade DE from my local Naturopath but the Amazon type is good also. You can put it right in a shaker and put it directly on your food. Thanks for the visit.

Very interesting. I don't eat a lot of sushi but this has me thinking. I use DE around the house to kill bugs. I might have to take a dose myself!

Well, that's more information than I may have wanted to know, but you've done a great job compiling it! : ) Diatomaceous Earth is also useful in gardens for keeping snails and slugs at bay around the tender plants they love to eat.

I was afraid to watch the videos; I get grossed out easily. That said, I didn't know DE could be taken internally ... so that was news to me. It would sure make sense, though. I'm going to look into this further ... it's fascinating.
